Mackinac Island Alphabet

It is hard to believe that the holidays are upon us. I’m still trying to blog a little bit about our adventures we had this summer.  We had a fantastic road trip and so much fun with family and friends that I’m anxious to share it with you.  One of the things we did was go to Mackinac Island in Michigan.  Some of you may of heard of it.  The movie with Christopher Reeve “Somewhere in Time” made it famous besides it fudge.  To have a little fun we had the kids help us find the alphabet made out of things on the island.  This is what they came up with.  So excited to give it to them for Christmas. Thanks Pamela Francisco for helping get it together.

New Blog on it’s way

Thank you so much for stopping by.  We are currently in the beginning stages of creating a new blog experience and some of it is live now.  Please be patient as we work thru the kinks and troubles that occur with this kind of update.  Please keep checking as we will be releasing not one but two new sites.

San Jose Church Wedding on the Hill| Dave and Brooke

Brooke and Dave had a beautiful day for their wedding.  Everything was held at the The Point Church in San Jose, California.  Amazing enough this was the first time I had met Brooke and Dave and it was fun getting to know them. Before the ceremony Brooke showered her groom with little presents.  It was fun for everyone as we anticipated what he was going to be receiving next.  It was a really sweet thing and I’m sure her groom will always remember it.  Surrounded by their closes family and friends they exchanged their vows inside the church sanctuary.  It was a great message delivered to the couple about keeping God the center of their marriage and what marriage really is.  I could tell the two of them really took the advice to heart.  The ceremony was accompanied by live music which I don’t see much of anymore.  What made it so intimate is each of the singers and musicians were friends of the bride.

The fun continued at the outdoor reception which was held right out on the front veranda of the church overlooking the valley.  It was a beautiful location and the evening light streamed across creating a beautiful atmosphere for dinner.  As the sun set the lights of the city awakened to create a romantic feeling of twinkle lights. The reception was very simple with heartfelt words from friends and family and a simple cake cutting.  The grand finale of the night was a sparkler send off for the couple as they left their wedding celebration.  It was the perfect ending to a wonderful day.  You can view some of the photos from their day and please remember to leave them a little love below so they know you stopped by. Enjoy!

Children’s Photography Mini Session| Los Gatos

Here is the newest of our mini shoots.  This family had just moved in to a new house in Los Gatos and wanted their kids photographed in their yard and garden.  It was a beautiful setting for photographs as we played with bubbles, licked lollipops, talked about Garfield the cat, and which Disney princess was her favorite.  I loved that the princess I photographed for this portrait session wore turquoise tights and pink monkey tennis shoes.  Every time I look at them it makes me smile.

Grow with baby photo session| Life with Mason Age 6 months

These sessions are always fun because you get to see how the baby changes.  If you have ever been a parent you understand how quickly.  Getting to know Mason has been a real treat and I’m anxious to see what he’s doing now when I visit.  Whether it is rolling over, sitting up, teething, talking, eating solids, crawling or just making mommy and daddy’s life better.  Every baby is different on how they develop and being able to document it for new parents is always a great feeling.  Mason started eating solids since I saw him last and he is so funny because they say he loves to have his foot up on the tray while being fed.  Not sure if it is just more comfy or if he just wants to sit in style.  He was sitting up but not crawling but one thing he has down is his big smile and giggle.  You can’t help but have your heart melt when you hear or see it.  Here are a few images from their latest session “Life with Mason”.  Enjoy and in case you missed it you can see their maternity session by clicking here.
