Wanted to give you all an update on Tony and Jackie’s wedding. I know you’ve read about all the things we did for the bachelor/bachelorette party on the red and white fleet in San Francisco. Well, now I can fill you in on the day. Life has been so busy around here. I laugh because I probably have about 20 things that I should blog about. But today for starters I’m going to share with you what a great day it was for Jackie and Tony’s wedding. Many of you don’t know this but Tony is my husband’s best friend, my old assistant photographer, and known as my second husband. I always knew there was someone out there for him so I helped him write an ad for Yahoo personals. The title read Polygamy is Illegal! Have extra husband. I wrote about all of his great qualities and how I needed to get rid of my spare husband. He was well trained and would make an excellent husband. Well, Jackie said it made her laugh and the rest was history.
My husband did an excellent best man speech. He was funny, witty, and he brought out divorce papers. It was so great. He told Tony and Jackie that they weren’t legally married until Tony relenquished all rights to me and that he would like Tony to pay alimony. It was hysterical as Tone and I ended our fake marriage of 13 years.
It was a great night and they did such a wonderful job on everything. The Historic Del Monte I thought did a great job. Teresa Garcia from Ever After Brides did a fantastic job on Jackie’s hair. It was really soft and romantic. Exactly what she was looking for. I highly recommend Teresa to anyone who is looking for great hair and make up on your special day.
For me personally, this day went so fast. It seemed like it would never get here and when it did it all seemed surreal. It wasn’t until I finally saw Tony dancing with his new wife that I realized he finally got married. It was the happiest I’d ever seen him.
