I was so excited when this was released in January. But I didn’t want to share it with all of you til I recieved the link to the online site. If you haven’t seen the layout in Today’s Bride make sure you pick it up. This is a great site and magazine to find some wonderful ideas for your wedding. Casey and Jessie’s day was so fun and unique. I was really happy when there wedding was chosen to be 1 of only 4 featured in the magazine as well as online. Shannon and Russell’s engagement session along highway 1 Santa Cruz

Blogged under Uncategorized by jill on Friday 18 April 2008 at 10:33 am

Well we went on a little adventure looking for the perfect location for Shannon and Russell. They definitely wanted the beach in their photographs. Shannon’s grandma told they should go to this one beach because it is just the best. I wish I could remember the name. I was afraid of wind because normally that area the wind can pick up pretty good. Well, when I looked up the weather report the wind was low so we headed out. Little did we know when we got there it was more then a little windy. The 8 kite surfers should of given us a clue. But none the less we persevered and found some great spots along the way and ended up at Natural Bridges where it was just beautiful. Just a slight breeze. One of our stops was this great mustard field along the way. I was going to photograph Morgan their daughter but it was to cold and she stayed in the car. Russell was going to help me and he was so funny. I’ve never seen anyone have some much fun a with a reflector. He was like a dog in a field bouncing around looking for stuff to chase. I was afraid he was going to bounce the reflection of light in to an upcoming driver and then we really would have had a different look for their pictures. ACTION! But we had a lot of fun and got some fantastic pictures. See for yourselves.

Flores Family Photos

You’ve been asking and I finally fixed the slideshow problem.  so I have a ton of new slideshows coming up in the next week or two. One of the first ones was the intimate Flores family session. It is always a great time to photograph Ken and Stephanie.  I’ve been blessed to photograph their engagement, wedding, and now their family.  Little Nicholas is such a joy.  He is one of the most smiley babies I’ve ever seen.  I joked because he would be busy looking at something like babies do and when I would say his name he was instant camera face.  It was so funny. He was so aware that he was getting his picture taken. They have a little star on their hands or just a ham.  There were some really fun moments and some really sweet moments.  Enjoy their photos by clicking on the links below.

Your invited to Una Bella Sera!

I am so excited to be part of this and looking forward to the event.  What is great is that I’m allowed to invite past, present and future clients to attend.  I’ve worked with Crystal several times and she is always fantastic.  I’ve never worked with Nicole but I’m sure her reputation didn’t get that way for being awful. :) I hope that you can make it.  I think for many of you it will give you some great ideas for your day or for any event you’ll be planning.  Plus, it is a great way to see a new venue that is opening to bride and grooms. Check out what Crystal wrote on her blog it will give you all the details that you will need for the evening.  Hope to see you there.  Please note the time change.  It starts at 4pm-7pm.

“A beautiful evening” at Casa Real on April 27, 2008 is for our clients and vendors to enjoy themselves with flowing champagne, sweets & savories. The event will be featuring the designs of Amazáe Special Events and Nicole Ha, while highlighting our “great list” of vendors doing what they do best. The event is also sponsored by the new, yet to be open event location in Pleansanton, Casa Real at Ruby Hill Winery, and our favorite magazine, Your Wedding Day.

We invite you to come join us for this great event.
Details on the event and registration can be viewed here:
