Pumpkin Patches
Happy Halloween everyone. I can’t believe how fast this month as went. I’m so glad that earlier this month my kids and I made it to the pumpkin patch. It is one of our yearly traditions that we just love. I’ll be sad when these days are over. We headed to Lemos Farm on the way to Half Moon Bay to play, ride the hayride, and get their monster cookies. Aidan even had the oppurtunity to do a pony ride. Afterwords we headed to our friends house in Half Moon for dinner. Along the way I found a great little pumpkin stand that had a bunch of different kind of pumpkins. What was great was that it was so reasonably priced that we were able to get all kinds of different ones to decorate the outside of the house with. They had acorn pumpkins, green pumpkins, white pumpkins, pumpkins that looked like watermelons, and some really funky squashes that we picked because they were fun.
One of the greatest inventions is the potato head pumpkin kits. This way they can have their pumpkins decorated for most of the month. Last night we carved some but these have been up all month. Can’t wait to post some images from Halloween this year. My nephews will be here (their 29 and 30) and they are going to dress up with the kids and take them trick or treating this year. It should be pretty good.
