I just thought this was hiliarious.  My youngest loves the book by Dr. Suess Green Eggs and Ham.  We read it almost everyday.  Well, we had some leftover ham after Easter and guess what he had for breakfast the next day?  You got it!DSCF3416greeneggs

Friday had the oppurtunity to meet up with Natalie and Eric to do their engagment session in San Francisco.  It was a beautiful day here in the south bay.  But up by the bridge the fog really came in.  We had only a couple of minutes where the sun broke through.  We still had a great time and got some fantastic images of the two of them.  This is one of my favorites.  Check out their slideshow.

The Ducks

Blogged under Uncategorized by jill on Monday 9 April 2007 at 4:07 pm

There has just been so many funny things that has happened the last couple of weeks to share with you.  Make sure you scroll down to see everything.  These Ducks are one of the strange and funny things. I guess they are migrating but they come to our yard every night about 5 or 6 o clock and hang out for a hour or so.  This has been happening for about 2 weeks.  We named them Ozzy and Harriett.  My kids love it.DSCF3383ducks

Holy Cow!

Blogged under Uncategorized by jill on Monday 9 April 2007 at 4:01 pm

As you know we like to pull practical jokes.  One of our close friends who is usually the one the prank gets pulled on turned 40 last week and we celebrated all weekend with her.  First of all she woke up to her yard being completely decorated with cows and a big sign that said ” Holy Cow Cindy is 40 Now!”.  We decorated her car and forced her to wear a cow hat all day.  She was a great sport.  Then the next night her husband rented a limo and we went to the dinner theater in San Francisco “Teatro Zinzanni” on the Embarcadero.  Again another great show.  A little mix between Cirque de sole and Vaudeville.  There is a five course dinner that goes along with the show. It take about 3 hours and is a fun thing to do with friends.DSCF3268Holy CowDSCFzinzznn

Hope all of you had a Happy Easter.  We were blessed to celebrate the day with close friends after chuch.  It is a great time with kids since they love to hunt for eggs etc.  If you haven’t heard me mention it we’ve moved in to a great neighborhood.  We have the best neighbors.  One day last week we colored eggs with some of the kids in our driveway.  Some just gave up on the little metal holders to dunk and they just used hands.  I’m not sure if they ever got it off.  Last my kids love to get new clothes so here they are showing of their new duds.DSCF3379coloredeggsDSCF3380greenhandDSCF3399easter

Apple Blossoms just in time for Jamie and Peter’s wedding

Blogged under Uncategorized by jill on Monday 9 April 2007 at 3:41 pm

Right before I left for the Vegas convention I photographed the wedding of Jamie and Peter in Berkeley.  They had a beautiful church wedding at St. Mark’s Episcopal church across from the track stadium. The reception was held at the Brazilian Room in Tilden Park.  One of the things Jamie wanted was to have the cherry blossoms in bloom.  These trees only bloom one week out of the year and she got it.  Even though it was cold and the fog rolled in we got some beautiful pictures of the day.  I just love the photo of Jamie after she put her veil on.  She was so excited and happy.  The one of Peter before he walked in to the ceremony just seems so from the Kennedy era.  One of my favorites from the apple blossom session, and the last is of these origami cranes that Jamie’s aunt made.  There was a 1000 of them and they made a cross that was behind the bride and grooms sweetheart table.  Some of  their vendors were www.Culinaryexcellence.com , Quantum Music, and Montclair Bakery.  Don’t forget to check out their slideshow.

Ok so we had to get out of Paris one night.  The entire time we were at the conference we hardly left the casino.  There was so much to do. One night we just had to get out and do something that didn’t involve photography.  We were a little overstimulated.  So my friend Jill, yes Jill and I went and saw the The Blue Man Group.  It was amazing and fun.  I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect but it was spectacular.  They mocked so many different types of art and had so much audience participation you just didn’t know what to expect next.  One of the blue men kissed me and left his mark.  These guys are so coated with wet paint that his paint never came off.  I’d love to see how they get them ready.  If you have a chance a really fun thing to do.

So much to say about the Vegas convention

Just got back from the National Wedding Conference in Vegas last week. There is so many great things to tell you about the Vegas convention.  First of all it is probably the biggest convention worldwide for wedding and portrait photographers.  It was so very exciting, overwhelming, exhausting, and rejuvenating all at the same time.  It was a great time to learn and talk with other photographers in the industry plus my favorite part to find my clients the newest and best things available for you.  I was at the tradeshow for five hours everyday and still didn’t have a chance to look at everything.  A couple of great things I’d like to announce and can’t wait to show with you all.  First of all my album line Graphi that I love so much came out with some new products, designs, color, and covers for all of you.   I also decided to start carrying another great album line from Australia called Queensberry.  They have a beautiful product also and I’m very excited to show you all a split book.  I thought it was just fantastic.  Last and probably my most favorite thing is the new Masterpiece collection I’ll be featuring for final images.  These are something you’ve never seen before and they are just a one of kind piece of art for your homes and generations to come.  Can’t wait to share eveything with you in person there is just to much to write about.  My head is still spinning with new and wonderful ideas.
