An engagement session with Queen Mary 2

So we decided to do an engagement session with Peter and Jamie up in San Francisco.  Jamie wanted to go to the Palace of Fine Arts.  We didn’t think much about it.  We set the date and it ended up being Super Bowl Sunday.  We thought great less people they’ll be watching the game.  What we didn’t know was that the Queen Mary 2 was coming in to the San Francisco Bay.  The biggest ship ever to enter the bay area.  The traffic was unbelievable and the area around the Palace was jammed. I had to admit I’d never seen a ship that big, but I was just amazed at how many people came out to see her sail in.  But we made the best of it and still had a great time and were able to get some fun images.  Peter and Jamie were great sports as we battled the crowds to get their special shots.  I kept telling them it was a great story to tell their kids.  The day they had their engagement photos done the largest ship ever sailed in to San Francisco Bay.

Lisa and Mark’s engagement

Blogged under Uncategorized by jill on Wednesday 28 February 2007 at 8:44 pm

008aLisa and Mark just got married last week.  I hope to have some of their wedding pictures up for you to view soon. We did this engagement session right before the holidays.  Lisa and Mark love to go wine tasting.  We went to this great little winery that I never even knew it existed. It is called Pichetti Winery up in Cupertino mountains.  It was so fun and rustic.  The best part is they have these wild peacocks that just walk the grounds.  There is also a really great nature trail to do some hiking right alongside it.  How fun to go for a hike and then come down for some wine tasting.  They even have a little picnic area.

What a cute couple.  I had never had the oppurtunity to meet Sara and Wes before their big day and they were so much fun.  Sara had to of been one of the most relaxed brides I had ever seen.  The wedding took place in January at the St. Claire hotel in downtown San Jose.  I love this photo from their day.  Their is just something classic and timeless about it.  It reminds be of something from the 40’s.0048a

Jon and Kim

It has been a great couple of months and I apologize for not getting stuff to you sooner. The end of the year and beginning always keeps me busy.  Keep looking over the next couple of days and I hope to have up some great events from the past couple of months.  I’m going to start with a slideshow from Jon and Kim.  They had a Christmastime wedding and it was a fun event.  They are probably one of the most romantic couples I’ve met. They were married at a church in Portola Valley and the reception was in Palo Alto.  Enjoy!
